On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
A therapist can provide a safe and private setting to talk about those issues you may not feel comfortable talking with anyone else about. Close friends and family are good to talk to and it is important to have this kind of support, but with a therapist, what you talk about is confidential. A therapist is also trained in evidence based practices that work and they are trained to focus on your behavioral patterns. The therapist can help you foster your strengths and make behavioral changes for those things that are not so healthy.
