I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions and tackle relationship challenges. I help my people dealing with divorce adjustment, relationship and dating challenges, depression, family issues, social anxiety, and grief/loss. I especially enjoy helping young adults and students find love, happiness, and fulfillment as they strive for independent lives.

I also work with couples to effectively manage conflict, improve communication, break through long-standing issues, and revitalize stagnant relationships. My goal with couples is to establish a friendship-based foundation, nurture love and affection for one another, and reignite romance and passion.

More Info About My Practice

I hold MS and PsyD degrees in clinical psychology from Philadelphia-based Chestnut Hill College. My pre-doctoral internship was at Metropolitan State University's Counseling Center, where I aided students in navigating emotional challenges, life changes, relationship struggles, trauma, and substance abuse.

In addition to psychotherapy, my graduate studies focused on psychological evaluation. I have experience evaluating a wide variety of emotional, cognitive, and learning disorders. This experience informs my therapy work with a deep understanding of diagnostic issues and personality factors. Finally, I know that therapy can be challenging, and I therefore value laughter and a sense of humor to help make the journey a little easier.

My Role as a Therapist

My work with clients is a collaborative effort. The more you put into therapy, the more therapy will offer you. Whether you are in a rut or keep finding yourself in the same difficult place, you have probably already worked hard to solve your problems. If nothing seems to work, don't worry. Therapy offers hope! We will work together to better understand your concerns, identify barriers and unhealthy cycles you might be unaware of, and cultivate strategies to help you lead a happy, fulfilling life.
