My Approach to Helping

Hi, I'm glad you're here. You may be here because you're feeling stuck, confused, and alone. I can help. Sometimes life can get too overwhelming to handle all by yourself. It's okay to not be okay all of the time. I am here to meet your where you are and to help you get where you want to go. More than anything else, I believe that people are resilient. I will work together with you to help build healthy coping skills and a sense of empowerment. I will also assist you in making the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. You will then begin to better understand the thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and core beliefs surrounding a problem. Once this occurs, space is opened up and there is room for intentional and lasting change and growth. While it takes a tremendous amount of courage to take that first step to feeling better, I invite you to call me for a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if I may be a good fit for you and your needs.

More Info About My Practice

For trauma and PTSD, I work with my clients using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help reprocess traumatic memories. ART is a brief, evidence based, eye movement therapy similar to EMDR that helps clients keep the memory, but lose the pain and suffering associated with it.
