I have extensive training and experience working with couples and individuals on issues including anxiety, relationships concerns, infertility, premarital, intimacy, infidelity, trauma, depression, codependency, low self esteem and life transitions to name a few.

For couples that may mean developing effective communication and conflict resolution strategies, increasing intimacy, and learning to navigate life as a team. With individuals we may be overcoming negative patterns, and developing tools to cope with anxiety and stress.

My therapeutic approach focuses on creating awareness, discovery, and confidence to motivate you into action. My style is dynamic, engaging, motivating, supportive and warm and I provide a safe and judgement-free setting where you can be heard and understood.

I utilize a holistic approach that integrates cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness and emotionally focused strategies to support people of diverse backgrounds and experiences in reaching their true potential. The work is creative, strength-based and goal oriented to move you towards clarity and space for positive possibilities.

My approach also integrates sensorimotor therapy, sometimes referred to as mindfulness or body-mind work. It teaches you to observe how your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and attitudes impact physical sensation, automatic arousal and your overall sense of self. Through the tracking of physical sensations, incorporating grounding exercises, and implementing orienting and physical movement exercises, you build awareness, competency, and develop a sense of empowerment. Sensorimotor therapy can be highly effective in treating trauma, panic, depression, anxiety and physical pain.
