My Approach to Helping
I will provide you with a safe, warm, nonjudgmental environment where you will feel accepted and understood. When clients come to me, they often say they feel physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted from parenting their high needs child. It's easy to focus on the needs of others while neglecting the most important person, YOURSELF. Some of my clients tell me they feel they have lost sight of their personal goals and dreams in order to attend to the needs of their family.
I am here to help you decide what changes will be most helpful for you, and I will support you as you make those changes a reality. Not only can I help you learn to cope with your situation no matter how dire, but I will also help you learn to accept that which you cannot change and make the changes that will lead to your happiness.
