My Approach to Helping
Arlyne practices mind-body medicine by treating the whole person by means of conventional and complementary methods via the utilization of pharmaceuticals, supplements, and complementary therapies. She employs a personalized strategy that addresses the physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and environmental influences that affect one’s health and wellness. She accomplishes this through her innate ability to understand her patient’s culture and beliefs, as well as, the unique characteristics of each individual in order to facilitate the healing response. She employs appropriate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based approaches in order to integrate the best therapy for her patients, whether that be conventional, complementary or both.
Her unique approach to therapeutic interventions engages the mind, body, spirit, and community to facilitate healing. Thus, maintaining the belief that healing is always possible, even when curing is not.
Arlyne has experience in the acute care inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as her most recent role as resident nurse at a prestigious independent school for dyslexia and language- based learning disabilities. Arlyne specializes in treating adults and children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, stress management, and emotional wellness.
