More Info About My Practice

I specialize in working with: people who are managing chronic illness, treating couples where one or both parties is managing chronic or terminal illness, and treating medical professionals struggling with the stress of the job or are struggling with feeling burned-out.

I also treat a variety of other issues including those affecting LGBQAI community, transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, relationships with alternative structures such as polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, and those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and substance use.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to create a space for you to feel heard and seen with full acceptance and without judgement. My goal is to give you the tools and skills needed to create sustainable change. I am committed to giving you the opportunity to heal, to succeed, and to live a life of vitality. It is also my role to be directive when necessary to help you avoid feeling stuck.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

That's pretty normal. It can be scary to imagine opening up to someone, or having to part with behaviors or patterns which no longer serve you. Healing and change do require bravery and commitment, but the reward is sweet. I invite you to give me a call and talk about your ambivalence and to determine if I'm a good fit for you.
