My Approach to Helping

My mission is two-fold: I want to help you cultivate a healthy relationship with yourself, and a healthy relationship with others.
We all yearn for fulfilling intimate relationships, but we don’t always know how to cope with relational challenges. I help individuals and couples navigate high-conflict relationships and rebuild intimacy, by teaching them concrete tools from evidenced-based approaches.
What kinds of things do you say to yourself? Are those voices harsh or compassionate? How we relate to ourselves profoundly impacts how we relate to others, so I also strive to help you cultivate self-compassion and mindfulness, reconnecting you with your inner desire, power, and confidence, so that you can uncover the strength that’s always within you.
Growing up in China and now living in the U.S., I have developed a multicultural lens that allows me to understand the unique challenges of identity, acculturation, studying abroad and immigration. In addition to the general public, I am passionate about working with Asians and Asian Americans in both English and Chinese.

More Info About My Practice

I invite you to embark and stay on the journey of self-care. In therapy, specifically, we strive collaboratively to gain insights about your life, improve the way you relate and connect with people, and practice specific tools that can help you cope with stressful life experiences. What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I've always been fascinated by human relationships. I consider it a privilege and an honor to hear people's stories and be a part of their efforts to better their relationships and live an authentic and happy life.
