My Approach to Helping
I offer 18 years of behavioral health experience, with additional post-graduate education. I’m currently licensed in three states, with additional certification in grief counseling. I've worked in community mental health settings, private practice, and have assisted individuals with chronic and severe mental illness, as well as mild depression and anxiety.
An ideal client comes just as they are. They arrive with an expectation that help and recovery are near. They’re open to guidance, somewhat like having a copilot, navigating the peaks and valleys of mental health, addiction, or just life. Their goal is to get better, and they are willing to work towards this. This client wants someone positive, maybe even comical at times, yet knowledgeable and as passionate about them getting better as they are. Although at times life doesn’t seem fair, they’re willing to work through these struggles with support.
