My Approach to Helping

Acres of Hope offers a unique form of therapy incorporating horses into the session. I use equine therapy as my primary model for working with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. Since the horse can't judge you..but rather mirrors your emotions, it is the perfect partner to bring your challenges to the forefront quickly without judgment. Sometimes pain doesn't have words and with horses involved, you can find healing by applying your meaning to what unfolds. Traditional therapy is also provided at the farm.
