My Approach to Helping

*Intensively Trained DBT Therapist* Deciding to begin therapy can be an anxiety provoking decision. That is why I provide an ease about coming to therapy and attempt to make my clients feel comfortable beginning this process. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults helping them get through difficult transitions in their lives. I do a lot of work challenging people to explore their aggression, self-harming behaviors, drugs and alcohol use, suicidal ideations, depression and anxiety. I also enjoy working with adults dealing with life transitions and helping them improve their moods and perspectives on life.
I help my clients challenge themselves to develop a more meaningful life while helping them get out of that "stuck" feeling. The type of therapy I offer is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), where we will explore different ways to regulate emotions, tolerate distressing events, mindfulness, and improving interpersonal relationships
***I also offer HIPAA Compliant Video Sessions***

More Info About My Practice

I am part of a fully adherent DBT program that offers individual therapy to address problematic and high risk behaviors, while helping you move towards your life worth living goals. We offer DBT groups so you can learn DBT skills that will help you learn better ways regulate your emotions, tolerate your stress level and urges, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I also offer phone coaching 7 days a week if you are in the full DBT program. This gives you access to my cell phone during the week if you are in crisis, or if you need help regulating your emotions in order to reduce your stress level.
