My Approach to Helping

There is no question that life has been coming at us all hard lately. Forcing us to change in ways we could have never predicted. Transition is never easy, but it is even more complicated when you factor in trauma, depression, fear or any of the other possible roadblocks that are common in life. It is normal to respond to “new” with uncertainty, sadness, or even anger. These changes, and the reactions to them, can cause issues within a relationship (including parenting), sleepless nights, acting out, indecision and prolonged sadness.
Allow me to collaborate with you to explore change and transition, and resolveprocess those feelings or thoughts that are making you feel nervous, down, overwhelmed or uncomfortable. Helping others is my passion and I enjoy tailoring treatment to fit the individual or collective needs of the clientcouplefamily.
While I've been in practice, I've had the pleasure of working with clients of varying age, ability, socioeconomic status, education, gender and ethnicitynationality. One thing that has been made clear in this time, is that nobody is exempt from hardships. So if you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or you're tired of going in circles reach out today.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Most people believe that therapy is only for "crazy" people or those that are anxious and depressed but that is not the case. Therapy is useful for everyone whether or not you are actively enduring a mental health emergency. Therapy is useful for those in need of coaching or are experiencing a transition, and excellent for pre-marital evaluation. Therapy is a safe place, where you are allowed to share your thoughts, feelings, and insights on your experiences. Therapy can help you end behavior cycles, process through a rough patch, and get you into a position to take those next steps toward actualizing your larger goals. It isn't one size fits all but I'm positive it is for anyone willing to try it out.
