My Approach to Helping

Therapy is a journey we will walk together. I believe in exploring solutions in your life's story. Going to counseling is a process of discovering your strengths, finding the path that fits who you are, and making changes you are comfortable with as you gain the invaluable insight to navigate through your experiences. Therapy can enable you to use these new skills and behavioral changes to conquer the challenges we all encounter as we walk through life.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

There is no greater joy than seeing a client become empowered--discovering their strengths, creating their solutions, choosing how to navigate life's journey .successfully.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

Much of the change that occurs during therapy is due to the relationship between the client and the therapist. Where there is fit, there is great possibility of change. We will work together; I don't change you--YOU make the changes you feel are appropriate and necessary for your life to be happier. I will help you with strategies, build your skill set, and help you gain insight into making and sustaining these changes.
