My Approach to Helping
Have you ever experienced changes that later seem to fade? This is because changes that occur at a more surface level are not as long-lasting as growth that happens in a much deeper way, using a depth approach (Leichsenring & Rabung, 2008). Exploring and understanding underlying core issues, behavioral patterns, and emotional injuries within a warm and collaborative relationship lead to better relationships with ourselves and with others (Norcross & Lambert, 2011). I want to help you move through blocks that you continuously encounter in your life so that you can make healthier choices within your professional, social, and personal lives. We tend to repeat behaviors that we do not understand. In psychotherapy, we can stay curious about, unpack, and heal the many parts of you that can often be ignored and avoided. Everyone needs that one person in their lives with whom they feel comfortable and safe to be truthful. I provide that space for you to be vulnerable in a way that you may struggle with being around loved ones.
