My Approach to Helping
There are four things I focus on while I'm helping you: motivations, beliefs, emotions, and interpretations. Your motivations tell me where you want to be in your life. "I know I have problems with my relationships." Your beliefs tell me how capable you think you are. Your emotions tell me how you react to the world. Your interpretations of yourself tell me how you focus on situations and what all of this means to you if it means anything at all. Taken together this paints a fuller picture of what it means to be you and how you manage your life. But this isn't the complete picture either. Beneath all of what I mentioned is something deeper.
