My Approach to Helping
I believe that all individuals are unique and worthy of care and acceptance. I tailor treatment to meet each client's specific needs, holding strong to the idea that there is no one course of treatment that will benefit all clients. I take an eclectic approach to treatment, utilizing different forms of therapy depending on the case. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ community, as members of this community often have similar issues surrounding their sexuality and gender identity that have specific treatments. Two issues that arise in the LGBTQ community are anxiety and depression, which are the issues I see most in my practice in clients with different backgrounds and orientations.
More Info About My Practice
I run my practice with an "all are welcome" approach. My office is a safe space, free from judgment and exclusion. I am open to clients from all walks of life, and I am here to help any and all clients to live happier, more productive lives.
My Guiding Ethical Principles
Everyone deserves mental health care when in need. We are faced with a time when proper mental health care is undervalued. I work against this by acting as an advocate for my clients both in session and in the greater community. There is no shame in caring for one's psychological well-being, and I am here to offer help in a shame-free environment. I accept all of my clients for who they are and work to foster an environment of caring and support.
