My Approach to Helping
Building a safe, nonjudgmental therapy space helps Andy build a trusting relationship with his clients. This approach is the foundation of his therapeutic style. He believes that people must feel safe for therapy to be effective. He uses solution-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as relational and person-centered techniques. Andy has extensive experience working with a diverse range of mental health issues, personal concerns, and life challenges. He appreciates and enjoys collaborating with diverse populations including children, adults, couples, and families. In addition, he feels strongly about supporting veterans, active duty, and their families.
