My Approach to Helping

If you are feeling anxious, depressed, or emotionally volatile, you are not alone - according to the National Institute of Mental Health, one in five people in the United States live with a mental health issue. Whether you need room to express yourself, help separating, prioritizing, and reflecting on the issues you’re facing, or outside accountability (or maybe a little bit of all of those), I am here for you. My clients find me easy to talk to, straightforward, and a great teammate in helping them set and realize their goals.
I provide a space where you can slow down and explore what’s going on in your life in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. My clients have grown in their ability to express and take care of themselves, exert more control over their actions, and have better relationships with family and friends.
My goal is for you to have a therapy experience which is valuable to you. I adapt well to the needs and personalities of my clients so that you are able to benefit from our time together as much as possible. Whatever works for you - your skills, your preferences, your learning style - is what we’ll do. I will help you identify and lean into your strengths.
