More Info About My Practice

Graham, Fox Valley
-The best part of biofeedback is being able to use the techniques that I have learned in order to prevent stress and anxiety and make my day more productive. I would say that it is well worth the time. It?s not very difficult, and what you learn there you can use for the rest of your life. One extra benefit is that I have been able to get to sleep much easier, as I am now better equipped to get myself to relax.

Jamie, St. Charles
-The best part of therapy was learning so much about the benefits of deep breathing and biofeedback. I gained a lot of knowledge that I'm now able to use in my daily life. I now pay more attention to my patterns and I am able to control my breathing better. I would say that just being around Dr. Hempel is calming and comforting because she is so sweet! She is very knowledgeable on biofeedback and on ways to combat your anxiety.

Michael, Geneva
-The best part was synchronizing breathing and heart rate. Learning to regulate anxiety was super helpful. The varying breathing techniques were helpful too. The slow release and panic attack techniques were both powerful/useful.

Kelsie, Fox Valley
- The best part of biofeedback was the super relaxed feeling you get after completing a session. I learned how to control my breathing better which was helpful. I would say that it helps you to relax and become more in tune with yourself.

Kevin, South Elgin
-The best part of biofeedback was having a visual representation of my breathing and seeing the comparisons. For me, having the structure helped me begin to make the breathing exercises a habit. It is easy for our bodies to form bad habits and without something like this, there is nothing in place to get back on track.
