My Approach to Helping
Did you ever feel like you just wanted to hit the pause button on your life? You are so tired of overthinking things that you need a vacation from your brain. If you could just stop the constant worry and self doubt you could actually have a life! All the second guessing and nervous tension keep you from achieving what you really want. You know that it's taking a toll on your relationships, work, health or happiness. You know you need to do something, but it's just so exhausting trying to get through the day. I want you to know that I understand how difficult it is to live with fear. As a matter of fact, at one point in my life, my world as I knew it was turned upside down. Yes I had real-life circumstances but what made it so much worse was my own thinking about these problems and the strategies that I used to try to deal with them. I was already working as a clinician and I knew how to deal with anxiety, or so I thought I did, but I came up against a problem that I simply couldn't fix. So I had to learn new ways to help myself.
Since then. I've worked with hundreds of client's who suffer from anxiety. Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. Sometimes you don't feel nervous but all of a sudden you are dizzy or feel like you can't breathe right. Other times you have thoughts that play over and over in your head. You may feel nervous in certain situations like dating or group events. It's important to figure out when these feelings started, how long you've been suffering and what you've tried to make them go away. If you are willing to make a commitment to your health, then I can tell you that you will feel better and soon. I know this is hard to believe, but you will be in a better place than you ever thought possible.
