My Approach to Helping
Sometimes people have obstacles in their paths and simply need some help clearing the road. A counselor can be a sounding board to allow you to better understand your own thoughts, as well as an objective participant who can assist you in exploring how your relationships affect every aspect of your life.
In addition to working towards your personal goals, we'll also work on improving your relationships by learning and practicing communication skills. You'll pick up some tools along the way as we collaborate on your journey. Like anything else worth doing, the more effort you put in, the better results you'll get.
I strongly believe that we mustn't postpone joy, and I hope to work together with you towards your better future.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
In my opinion, everybody could use some therapy at some point in their lives. Unfortunately, there is still some stigma attached to it. My view is that you shouldn't have to struggle through things alone if there's someone who can help you. If you were diagnosed with a particular disease, you would go see a specialist. Well, a therapist is a specialist in relationships, communication, and mental health issues. We have years of education, training, and experience that can help you get through a tough time, work through trauma, cope with a disorder, and so much more.
