My Approach to Helping

So you’ve found yourself waking up day after day wondering how you have gotten to this place in your marriage, wondering if there is something more? Maybe you have thought, “Something has got to change; or any change is better than no change at all.” Perhaps making a decision seems terrifying because the answers seem unclear. The thought of making the “wrong decision” keeps you stuck in a perpetual limbo. I work with people just like you who are trying to make sense of where they are in their relationship and unsure about how to move in a forward direction.

You want clarity and peace in your relationship. You want to have a partner and a best friend who allows you to feel heard, supported and understood. I can help.

I work with clients to help them identify the problematic behaviors that may be keeping them from having the relationships they desire. Once the problem is identified, it leaves room to develop new skills and create change.

My clients appreciate my laidback, yet direct approach to therapy. Check out my website to learn more about me and schedule your first appointment today!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work with couples who may be at a crossroads in their relationship or marriage. Perhaps one person has contemplated leaving while the other wants to make it work. Perhaps you're stuck and longing for something to change. Discernment counseling offers three choices: 1) things remain as they are; 2) divorce; or 3) commit to couples counseling. The process is brief and last from 1-5 sessions.

I also work with couples who have been impacted by an affair. In a moment's time, your life is turned upside down. Perhaps you once told yourself you would never stay with someone who cheated, but now find yourself wondering how to proceed. It is possible to work through an affair. I've witness couples walk away stronger than they were before and I've also witnessed couples make the decision to go their separate ways. Whether you decide to stay or go your separate ways, I am skilled in helping you through the process. My goal is to help you find as much peace and understanding as possible through it all.
