INTEGRATIVE AND HOLISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY - I work from a holistic approach that integrates highly effective modalities of body-centered mindfulness, EMDR and brain-spotting, as well as hypnotherapy, Chi Kung, and energy psychology with traditional talk therapy to facilitate emotional and behavioral change and healing. My approach is collaborative and interactive, and strives to help you uncover and heal your deepest issues in order to live your life to its fullest.

* Manage and overcome stress, worry, anxiety, panic and anger * Improve low self-esteem, lack of motivation, procrastination and depression * Recover from trauma/abuse * Rebuild your life after divorce, job and relationship loss * Individual and couple's relationship counseling * Bereavement counseling after the loss of a loved one * Personal Growth Issues

Amy Winters, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 20 years of psychotherapy experience in both mental health agencies and private practice, as well as over 20 years of mindfulness meditation experience (Vipassana), and 7 years of Clinical Chi Kung practitioner experience. What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

One of the most rewarding experiences for me is to watch my clients, through the process of our work together, heal from the past and move more fully into a satisfying and joyful life. I feel honored and grateful to participate and actively collaborate with my clients to achieve their goals. With the many new treatment approaches that have emerged over the last couple decades, it is very satisfying to share these gentle, yet highly effective approaches with others, and to assist people in making the changes they desire.
I see my role as someone who empowers others to take these tools into their lives to enrich themselves beyond our work together and continue the gains made in therapy. Psychotherapy should not be a lifelong endeavor. My hope is that, through our work together, each person can gain the insight, tools and healing needed to move into their lives fully and joyfully and can emerge from this process feeling more alive and aligned with their own unique purpose.
