My Approach to Helping
You are here looking for someone to help you with a specific difficulty. You hope for certain qualities in your therapist. I am compassionate, calm, and gentle. I listen attentively. I want to be someone who hears you. I also offer you tools that can help you with specific difficulties.
I am trained in EMDR by the Institute for EMDR. I also use Flash Technique to help lower your anxiety levels. I teach deep breathing and calm place for self-regulation.
If you are not sure if I am right for you, schedule an appointment and see. If we do not match, I can refer you to another therapist. If we do, it can be the beginning of a therapeutic relationship towards greater well-being.

I am trained as a Pastoral Counseling and invite you to bring your spirituality into the session. We can talk about how your faith informs, comforts, or guides your life. We will talk about how life has been for you, what you are struggling with now, and how to find options so you do not feel trapped.
