My Approach to Helping
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with deep credentials in community health centers, public hospitals, inpatient centers, and private practice. I have years of experience treating patients with mental illness and helping them grow to their full potential.
I view psychiatry as a way to help people find a more positive outlook on life. I find a goal-oriented approach is very effective when treating patients. I work with patients to set realistic goals that are attainable during or after each visit. Over time, I find this helps patients achieve success and positive outcomes.
I focus on clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, psychosis, and PTSD and may be suffering from Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD), where medication and talk therapy may not ameliorate their suffering. I work with patients to find the right treatment, and that may include Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for patients with TRD. I am well-versed in helping patients manage their medication regimen. I help patients set realistic goals that are attainable during or after each visit to help patients find relief and live happier lives. I have remained dedicated to patient-centric care throughout my career.
