My Approach to Helping

I offer the unique option of In-Home or In-Office therapy. I am a licensed psychotherapist with 14 years of experience. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families who may be struggling with overwhelming feelings, disordered eating and body image issues, trauma, anxiety, depression or general life obstacles. if finding a convenient location, tending to childcare needs, managing rigid work hours, or traffic and parking issues, in-home therapy is always convenient. If you want a more traditional therapy experience, in-office hours are available too.

I wholeheartedly believe in the power to heal, change, and make meaning of experiences while moving toward personal goals. I also believe that the way you view yourself, your relationships with others, and the world is a gateway to the therapeutic experience. I am here to hold your hope and help access your resilience.

My clients would describe my warmth, compassion, use of humor and realism as a recipe for connection and safety within our relationship. I am an active participant during sessions and willing to be vulnerable to move my client to a place of challenge and change. I integrate several modalities into treatment such as short-term solution focused, cognitive behavioral, evidenced based trauma modalities, and mindfulness practices.
