Everyone deserves to live a happy and fulfilling life. My passion is counseling individuals suffering from eating disorders and body image issues. I am currently working towards my Certified Eating Disorders Specialist certification (CEDS) through IAEDP. I also enjoy working with individuals that are 13 years and older who are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, school and work issues, peer relationships, and women's issues. I am a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) and offer online counseling to residents of North Carolina. The main theoretical orientation I use in my practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I provide all individuals with a phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other. I would be happy to talk to you about yourself, your issue, and anything else that you have concerns about. Therapy is a great way to make improvements in your life and you deserve to be happy.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Choosing to go to therapy does not mean you are weak because you are taking control of your life and making the decision to improve yourself. Therapy is a safe and confidential environment where you can feel comfortable to express yourself. Going to therapy means that you have identified something in your life that you would like to improve and that takes a strong individual to realize.
