Are you spending a lot of time worrying? Are you upset about a difficult relationship? Do you go through the day feeling anxious or depressed?

Therapy is an important tool that can help you better understand yourself and develop skills to handle life's difficulties in more productive ways. A person's inner strengths and resources are often hidden by subconscious forces of self that result in ineffective behavior patterns or destructive coping methods. As your therapist, I will help you break free of what's holding you down and guide you toward living the life you want to live.

My approach is supportive, respectful and encouraging. I will use reflective listening and exploratory questions to help you gain a deeper awareness of what's causing unhappiness in your life and relationships and what to do about it. I will collaborate with you to help you get relief from your burdens and feel good again.

Send me an email or call me. We can talk briefly about your objectives and, if it feels right to you, make an appointment for a session. If you would like the convenience of therapy in your home or office, you can request a video tele-therapy session in your email.

Specialty Issues: Relationship and couples counseling, family conflict, emotional abuse, co-dependency, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression, divorce adjustment, life transition, communication skills, and women's issues.

Fees: I accept debit and credit cards, PayPal, checks, and cash. I will consider offering a discounted rate if there is financial difficulty. If you want to use your health insurance, I will provide you with the documentation you need to file for insurance reimbursement (depends on your coverage).

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Relationship issues: Anxiety, depression, or feelings of hopelessness are often caused by difficult relationships, whether it is with a life partner, family member, friend, or work colleague. Past relationships, such as with a neglectful or manipulative parent, can have a profound effect on current relationships. Let's look into what's causing you to be miserable in a relationship and what to do about it.

Anxiety & Depression: Sometimes it's difficult to pinpoint the reasons for getting stuck in unhappiness and distressing situations. Uncovering the hidden psychological forces that keep you in the same patterns can liberate you from your emotional burdens and help you feel joy again.

Life Transitions: Whether you're grieving a loss, breaking up with a long-term partner, or feeling like you've lost your way, therapy can help you find better ways to cope, heal, and move on.
