My Approach to Helping
Trauma is something that should be taken seriously. Your trauma can stand in your way in so many ways. Some people are aware of their past traumas, while others are not. Everyone has one trauma or another in their lives. Trauma affects everyone in different ways. Some traumas are heavier than others. No matter the severity of your past trauma, there is a way out. I utilized different tools and approaches to dealing with client's past traumas. Treating your trauma can dramatically improve your well-being and happiness and many other areas of your life. I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2009 and has explored other modalities of healing and well-being. I have been trained in clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), DBT, REBT. I am a trained well-being coach as well.
I believe in a collaborative solution-focused approach between the client and the therapist.
