My Approach to Helping
In my practice I seek to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for helping people to look honestly at themselves and explore their pain and distress. I enjoy helping people to tell their story as they seek to find meaning, purpose, healing and growth. My approach to therapy is holistic and focused on increasing an overall sense of well-being.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
The decision to begin a therapeutic relationship often prompts feelings of anxiety and many people ponder the decision for some time before making the first appointment. It is normal to both "want to" and "not want to". On one hand there may be a sense of hope and on the other hand a sense of dread as people consider and commit to the process of honest self exploration, self discovery and imagining the possibility of growth and change in the context of a psychotherapeutic relationship. It is a sign of strength and courage to reach out, and even the idea of contemplating doing so may be the first self directed step to initiating change.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
One of the most important factors in choosing a therapist is finding a good fit. It may be necessary to interview multiple therapists before finding the right fit for you.
