My Approach to Helping
We’re all doing the best we can with what we have to work with. Sometimes we can use some extra tools in our toolbox to support us in managing when life occurrences seem to pile up and we just need a break. We can use therapy to help you get the extra help you need. By taking a holistic look at you and how your environment is affecting your mental health, we can do this.
I practice clinical social work with experience in individual, family, and group therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, and more.
My passion for the behavioral health field got put into play over 10 years ago, as a child counselor at residential group homes. Since then, she’s amassed experience working with individuals ages 4 to 65 years old coping with a range of life circumstances, including trauma, homelessness, and more.
