My Approach to Helping

I believe that it is in the context of safe and supportive relationships that we are encouraged to learn and grow. In counselling, I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive space for you to explore what matters most to you. There are many ways to approach counselling and I can work with you to explore what might be a good fit for you. I can support the counselling process using a variety of emotional, somatic, cognitive, and behavioural approaches. In particular, I draw from narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy (body-centred therapy), and feminist therapy.
I am particularly passionate about providing counselling for adults who are seeking support related to anxiety, life transitions, stress, trauma and trauma-related symptoms, relationship concerns, depression, sexual violence andor abuse, and existential crisis.
