My Approach to Helping
My approach to psychotherapy integrates the best scientific data with a profound awareness of the uniqueness of every person. I provide a warm, affirming environment where I serve as both coach and cheerleader, and I rely on the most current medical and psychological research to develop treatment plans and recommendations. My goal is to provide you with the skills and support you need to overcome the obstacles that keep you from being healthy and happy.
I received my psychology training at Princeton University, Emory University, and Weill-Cornell Medical Center. Prior to becoming a Floridian, I worked at the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders in New York City, providing therapy for inpatients and outpatients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and related eating disorders.
