More Info About My Practice

I also offer neurofeedback, also known as EEG-biofeedback. Neurofeedback can be very helpful in reducing symptoms and stabilization (sleep problems, anxiety, lack of focus, hopelessness..etc) while working on the underlying issues that bring you to therapy. Many people also choose to use neurofeedback as a stand-alone treatment for things including performance enhancement, sleep problems, and ADHD.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

The focus of my career has been on childhood trauma, trauma and attachment-related issues, which can show up as relationship problems, trust issues and boundary problems.

I have also successfully worked with many people on an array of other issues from depression and anxiety to life transitions and attachment-focused parenting. I offer a secular approach, grounded in psychology to the clients I see.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy is a great way to help organize your thoughts and emotions, which creates awareness and ultimately change. It can provide a space to learn how to cope with overwhelming emotions, understand their origin and evidence-based approaches to help you find resolve. Therapy can help you understand and eliminate problematic behaviors that feel out of your control and provide you with information about psychological well being. Therapy will help you understand who you are, how you got to where you are and how you would like to move forward.
