My Approach to Helping
Therapeutic Approaches:My main objective as a counselor is to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and trusting environment so that clients feel comfortable sharing their story and experiences with me. Clients and I will work together to develop goals using tools and evidence-based practices that fit their individual needs, and I will provide support along the way. Some of the approaches that I like to use are cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness, among others.
In my free time, I like to cook (buffalo chicken dip is my specialty) read, exercise, spend time with friends and family, and go down to the shore as much as I can.
