My Approach to Helping
Alyssa Thermos, LCSW, is committed to helping individuals with an array of mental health needs. She's caring, non-judgmental, and uses empathetic listening and humor to help clients face emotional situations and promote personal growth.
Alyssa earned an undergraduate degree from St. Norbert College and an MSW from Simmons University. She works with teens and adults struggling with a variety of challenges, including trauma, interpersonal relationships and communication, and LGBTQIA needs.
In therapy, Alyssa uses CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Art Therapy, and other techniques to help clients achieve goals. She understands that all clients have a story, and she's here to figure out what brought them to this point and how to help them get better.
