My Approach to Helping
Part of the human experience is that we are bound to experience something that throws us off our chosen path. Sometimes it is easy to bounce back to our normal lives and then there are those times where it seems as if we are stuck on a rollercoaster of emotions and stress with no end in sight. Being in that kind of place can feel frustrating, confusing, lonely, shameful, and let's face it, scary because it's difficult to know how to get back on track.
Through my trainings and experience, I am an expert in helping people understand how their experiences and relationships have shaped their lives, growing in their ability to cope with life as it is now, and most importantly, creating lasting change. I draw upon evidenced-based modalities such as EMDR, DBT, and IFS to help you reach your full potential.
More than my formal education and experiences, my personal experience with navigating my own path of suffering and growth is what makes me uniquely suited to act as a guide and companion in the discovering or re-discovering your path in life. Our sessions will be safe spaces, full of empathy and devoid of judgment - you can bring your true thoughts and feelings to our work together; I can handle it.
