I love being a therapist because I'm inspired by seeing my clients gain meaningful insights, achieve freedom from the things holding them back, and make huge progress towards their most important goals. I'm not afraid of your pain, struggle, and deepest darkest secrets because I know that we can make sense of it all together. Things will get better if you are willing to learn and make small changes.
I am very straightforward and real and will tell you what I'm thinking. I continue to read thousands of books and attend professional clinical trainings, thus giving you access to the recent, relevant, most effective information with useful specifics to what you are facing. The one hour a week you will spend with me will make the other 168 hours so much easier and what you learn about yourself will help you for the rest of your life.
I have experience working with people from 2 years old to 98 years old facing every challenge and diagnosis that exists. I enjoy working with both children and adults since this gives me a more in-depth understanding of how we have all developed as we are, and where we can be heading in the future.

More Info About My Practice
For adults, I specialize in working with clients with depression, bipolar, anxiety, toxic relationships, self-esteem problems, sudden life-changing events, recovering after a break-up or divorce, loneliness, and individuals adjusting to life with injuries, health problems, and disabilities.
For children ages 2-8 years old, I specialize in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) which helps you with prescription strength parenting skills for kids that seem to be a bit more difficult than most. If you find yourself having to tell them over and over to do something and they have more than 3 temper tantrums per week, then PCIT can help. It also helps determine if they have ADHD or not, before you medicate your kid, please try PCIT.
For Middle School and High School kids: I help with anger issues, defiance, self-esteem issues, anxiety, inappropriate sexual behavior, bullying, cutting, and suicidal thoughts.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
Before people work with me, I've heard too many times they don't know what they got out of therapy, or what they learned, and that they just talked. This is why I make sure that you make clear and meaningful progress each session and you leave understanding how you'll be able to make positive changes in your life. It will be time well spent.
I've also seen too many people MISDIAGNOSED with depression when they actually have bipolar, BPD, PTSD, or cyclothymia. Knowing the difference is crucial for you being able to best manage your life.
