My Approach to Helping
Are you stuck in painful, destructive or unhelpful patterns in your thoughts or behavior? I have a warm, active, and curious therapy style. My goal is to support you in finding deep, sustainable healing, whatever that looks like for you. In therapy you will have the opportunity to explore your life and attend to both your wounds and strengths in a safe, open-minded environment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to acquire concrete skills for managing thoughts, emotions and relationships.

I have an eclectic approach that prioritizes self-understanding and mindfulness. I am trained in multiple mindfulness-based therapies including DBT and the Trauma Resiliency Model, and also pull from cognitive behavioral, feminist and creative arts therapies as is relevant to your needs and goals. I have a strengths-based approach and work hard to understand you in the unique context of where you come from and where you want to go.

I specialize in working with clients who have experienced low self esteem, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and perfectionism, as well as with survivors of sexual assault. Additionally I have special insight into the needs of artists, new parents, and individuals in creative or high stress careers.
