My Approach to Helping

As a mental health professional, I have spent the last 11 years working with children, teens, adults, couples and families to combat the effects of stress, trauma, abuse, neglect, violence, bullying, substance abuse, mental illness, and more. Through my work as a psychotherapist, I have come to value a holistic, proactive approach to mental health and well-being. So often we wait until “the damage has been done” to seek help, versus proactively developing the skills and resources needed to conquer the difficulties of life.
I believe a healthy relationship with the self is key to happiness and success in life. Using self-awareness and connection to self, I assist individuals in developing a foundational level of emotional wellness. From this foundation, individuals experience improvement and increased satisfaction in all areas of life, including but not limited to: relationships, career, health and wellness, leisure, spirituality and purpose, and overall happiness and contentment in life. My approach is focused on increasing emotional intelligence and resilience, fostering healthy coping strategies and communication skills, enriching relationships, and adopting healthy life habits.
YOU are the expert in your own life. We will work together as a team to create a foundation for lasting happiness and wellness.

More Info About My Practice

In addition to my work as a therapist, I also support counselors in training as an internship site for Regis University, in both the Marriage and Family Therapy and Master's in Counseling programs. These master's level intern therapists are qualified to work with individuals (children, teens, & adults), couples and families. Interns receive regular clinical supervision from myself in order to support clients in the most effective and therapeutic way possible. Intern sessions are offered at a reduced rate of $60 per session, and also accept CCHA Medicaid. Please contact us directly if you're interested in working with one of our skilled interns. You can also read more about our interns on our website.
I also employ licensed therapists who enjoy part-time private practice work in addition to their other professional roles. Licensed therapists are also in network with various insurance companies, and offer an affordable out of pocket rate of $100 per session.
