My Approach to Helping
Are you looking to reduce stress, feel calm, and enjoy your life again? Is your child or teen struggling with school, friendships, self-esteem, or anxiety? In addition to supporting healing, I enjoy assisting clients in learning emotional awareness, anger or anxiety management, coping skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills in order to manage their emotions and behavior more effectively. Clients with attention difficulties may need support in learning organizational and time management skills as well. My goal is to empower clients to find their strengths and bravely address the concerns they present. I individualize therapy to the unique needs of my clients using best practice methods. I emphasize holistic growth and healing by incorporating the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of a client into treatment. When needed, I also consult with school and medical professionals and connect families with community services to promote their health and wellbeing.
