My Approach to Helping
My approach with clients is highly interactive, as I actively listen and pose questions that allow clients to expand their ways of thinking. I work to understand your particular life experience and current situational factors that may be creating difficulties. We proceed by identifying treatment goals, and I provide applicable tools and insights that can help you in reaching these goals. I use treatment techniques based on psychodynamic theory and cognitive behavioral theory molded specifically to your stated goals.
I work with clients to improve work-life balance and increase their resiliency to better manage stress. An area of passion is working with clients from bi-racial backgrounds.
