My Approach to Helping
Life can be confusing, frustrating, lonely, and painful. You may find yourself struggling with shame, fearfulness, sadness, anger, or even numbness - maybe it all snuck up on you, or maybe it came crashing down after a traumatic or hurtful event. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and without direction, finding a supportive, knowledgeable and safe psychologist is a great first step. I work with a diverse population, presenting with a wide range of concerns. These include depression, anxiety, social phobia, health anxiety, chronic illness, trauma (childhood and recent), grief, anger, stress, burn out, relationship issues, and loss of identity.
