My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is that “no one size fits all,” and to meet you where you are at in a non-judgmental space. All of my client relationships begin with an opportunity for you to talk and to have someone listen.
I work with adults in individual, group, and couples therapy, with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and other mental health issues detrimental to a healthy, fulfilling life. Many of my clients are young professionals and recent graduates who find themselves stuck at a crossroad—my role is to support you as you move forward to the next chapter. My practice is LGBTQIA-affirming, and I work with with individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
I employ a broad range of modalities from traditional psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy to mindfulness and meditation practices; and as a classically trained pianist I have also developed therapeutic interventions using music as a unique approach to treatment.
