My Approach to Helping
WAITLIST AT THIS TIME
Calling all sensitive hearts. It is no surprise so many of us struggle with mental health. We live in a social, economic system built for profit. Not for people, life, or health. If you cannot bear the insanity, cruelty, barbarity of our society and those who run it, you are not alone. Until we end racialized capitalism, settler colonialism, and global imperialism, we must care for each other as best we can.

That’s where I come in. I dream of the day when healthcare is free and accessible to all. Health and healing are human rights and should be integral parts of our lives and communities. However, while we operate in this system, counseling can make a huge difference.

While I engage in activism outside of therapeutic work, I hold a systems lens in my counseling. I use a combination of mindfulness, somatic (body), attachment or relationship-based approaches such as IFS (Internal Family Systems) to work in the present moment for deep healing and transformation, while also using approaches like DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to teach practical skills & tools for daily life. I always look for the strengths and resilience in my clients, supporting the development of a secure, positive sense of self, and strong, healthy relationships in their communities. I support my clients to resolve trauma, liberate and love more of who they really are, and live lives more aligned with what matters most to them. We can thrive, despite it all, together.
