My Approach to Helping

*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS & VIRTUAL SESSIONS* Calling all Sensitive Hearts. If you feel everything on a deep level, and you feel overwhelmed by this world, I offer a place to exhale, heal, and regenerate. I will never tell you to “get a thicker skin.” I understand that is not possible and while your sensitivity, empathy, & emotions can be a huge challenge, they're also a huge gift. You might struggle with anxiety & depression, self-esteem & worth, care-taking others, codependency, toxic relationships, and boundaries. You might be a healer, activist, artist, or spiritual seeker and feel exhausted by the amount of injustice in this country and world. I am with you - you are not alone!
I'm a fellow deeply feeling, sensitive, and compassionate empath, who understands your struggle to survive and thrive in this world. I specialize in person-centered, mindfulness, attachment, and body-based therapies. I'm committed to social justice work, draw on spiritual traditions & the arts and have over 20 years of experience with meditation.
I strive to create a space that's respectful, affirming, and safe for people of all racial and cultural backgrounds, and sexual and gender minorities. I acknowledge all of my privileges and that I will not know everything about your personal experience. I do know that your heart deserves healing, with another empathic heart.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

A friend once said "it's not what's wrong with you, it's what happened to you." So often 'disorders,' aka symptoms of being Human, are natural responses to trauma. My intention is that you feel safe to be your whole & complete, messy, beautiful self here. That's when real healing can happen.
