My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist in the state of Florida, and I have been assisting individuals, couples and families for the past 10 years. I have worked as a therapist and a clinical sexologist in my private practice as well as in hospitals. I am also a college Psychology Professor. My greatest passion in life is to see people experience changes in their lives that allow them to become their best version as well as to improve their quality of life.
I am a true advocate of self-love, self-value and a healthy self-esteem. I believe that you can obtain in life all that you deserve and be as successful as you want once you improve your self-esteem. I believe that a low self-esteem not only has negative influences on your romantic relationships, parenting, work interactions, or career but it also affects the way you manage difficult situations in life, manage stress, relationship issues as well as how you cope with other life issues. Loving yourself and valuing yourself sets the healthy boundaries for others to respect you and love you in a healthy manner, the way you deserve.
I treat various issues, concerns, and traumas that people may experience. I provide them with the strategies needed to confront their thoughts and re-name their traumatic experiences in order to reduce their trauma and anxiety symptoms. As a clinical sexologist, I also help couples to improve their intimate life, heterosexual couples as well as LGBT couples.
I am a non-judgmental therapist who would meet you right where you are and would accompany you through your healing process until your goals are met. I am a very empathic therapist who, above all, loves her job and the amazing results she sees in people’s life, once they embark on their healing journey with me.
