My Approach to Helping
Alex is a licensed clinical child and adolescent psychologist. She has extensive experience working with children, teens, and their families, from coping with childhood chronic illness to navigating complex behavioral health needs.
As a mother of two, Alex has seen firsthand how important behavioral health and well-being is for the whole family. She and her family enjoy hiking with their dogs, family bike rides, and cooking adventurous meals. Alex was previously the director of psychosocial services in oncology at Wake Forest University Medical CenterBrenner Children's Hospital.
Alex completed her postdoctoral fellowships at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Yale School of Public Health and has worked domestically and internationally with children and families.
