My Approach to Helping
Transitions can be some of the most exciting moments in your life. Marriage, growing families, new jobs - are all things to celebrate. Yet they bring with them so many challenges. For others, transitions are sparked by hard seasons of loss and betrayal. No matter what prompted this season, the person you were a short time ago is no longer there. Worse yet, you’ve lost sight of who you really are and are not sure of who you’re becoming. You don’t have to go through this alone.
As a Licensed Therapist, I have a love-hate relationship with transitions. I once had a mentor tell me in a season of change to “get used to it, life is change”. While I’ve since learned he was right, that isn’t what I needed at that moment. I was going through a major undoing of the person I thought I was and rediscovering my true self. In my life, what has been most beneficial is inviting trusted counsel to speak into my life and call me further.
During seasons of change your sense of who you are and your place in the world is shaken to the core. But that doesn’t have to be the end of your story. I am incredibly grateful to walk with my clients through their seasons of change. I help my clients make sense of their stories, identify barriers to their growth, and call them forward into living full, integrated lives. Let’s make this your reality.
