My Approach to Helping
Some key components of a therapeutic relationship are most definitely trust and honesty. Client needs to feel that they can trust their therapist in order to get the most out of therapy. The communication needs to be open and honest and be free of any judgment.
I love what I do and I will work extremely hard to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for our therapy sessions.
I began working in 2003 with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. I have had experience working with a wide range of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mania, psychosis, schizophrenia, and trauma-related issues. My clinical experience has given me the opportunity to work with adults of all ages as well as children and adolescents. I have also developed skills working with active duty military and Veterans.
